Redskins vs. Cowboys Live Updates: Score, stats, highlights, analysis, video

Today is the day.

It's Thanksgiving, which means it's time  to settle the score once again with Redskins vs. Cowboys.

Arguably the fiercest rivalry in NFL history is back on Thanksgiving for just the seventh time and the first time since 2012.

The Redskins (6-3-1) head to Dallas fresh off a huge Sunday night victory over the Packers and look to win their third in a row. But they take on the NFL's hottest team in the Cowboys (9-1), thanks to the emergence of rookies Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott.

The two teams met in Week 2, with the Cowboys emerging victorious with a 27-23 victory. But the Redskins have won six of the eight games since Week 2, and look to be clicking on all cylinders. But the same could be said for the Cowboys, having won nine in a row since a Week 1 loss to the Giants.

Will the Thanksgiving showdown provide another memorable highlight reel performance from the Redskins, looking to even the season score? Will the Cowboys grab a stranglehold of the NFC East with a convincing victory?

Redskins vs. Cowboys kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX, with Redskins Kickoff getting started at 3:30 p.m. ET on CSN Mid-Atlantic. (Channel Finder)

CSN Mid-Atlantic is here to provide you with the latest live updates, scores, highlights, stats and analysis from the Thanksgiving day game between the Redskins and Cowboys.

REDSKINS VS. COWBOYS LIVE UPDATES

FOURTH QUARTER:

7:38 p.m.: This one ain't over just yet. Cousins drives the length of the field and hits Reed for a second touchdown to make it 31-26. Can the Redskins recover the onsides kick?

7:22 p.m.: Cowboys come back once again. After the Redskins tried (and failed) on an onsides kick, Dallas gets another touchdown, this time on a run from Elliot. It's 31-19.

7:10 p.m.: And they respond! Cousins hits a wiiiiide open DeSean Jackson for 67 yards to make it 24-18 with 9:22 left.

7:05 p.m.: After the Redskins scored a touchdown to make it 17-12, the Cowboys respond with a touchdown of their own as Prescott runs it in. It's 25-12 Dallas.

THIRD QUARTER:

6:50 p.m.: The Redskins are driving again after Jordan Reed's ridiculous catch near the end of the third quarter. They're in the red zone again, can they finally cash in?

6:28 p.m.: Jordan Reed has returned to the field after an apparent shoulder injury.

SECOND QUARTER:

5:58 p.m.: Another botched red zone trip means the Redskins have to again settle for a field goal. It's 17-6 Cowboys at halftime.

5:47 p.m.: More Dak, more problems. The Cowboys go up 17-3 on a Prescott touchdown pass to Terrance Williams. Redskins are in a bit of trouble.

5:43 p.m.: We're thinking the sun might be a problem, you guys.

5:31 p.m.: Dez Bryant has caught a few passes against Josh Norman. This'll be the matchup to watch today.

5:26 p.m.: Bad news for Jordan Reed.

5:16 p.m.: Dustin Hopkins hits a short field goal inside the red zone to put the Redskins on the board. It's 7-3 Dallas early in the second quarter.

5:15 p.m.: Uh oh. Tight end Jordan Reed was down for a while after he fell hard on his shoulder. He was able to get up on his, but he's headed to the locker room. We'll keep you updated on his situation.

FIRST QUARTER:

5:02 p.m.: Chris Baker got a big tackle for a loss of Elliot, so you know he had to mimic the rookie's trademark celebration.

4:42 p.m.: Oh boy, that was entirely too easy. Cowboys drive the length of the field on their opening drive, finishing it off with a Ezekiel Elliot touchdown to make it 7-0 Dallas.

PREGAME:

3:15 p.m.: Here's something you may not know: Since taking over as the starting RB three weeks ago, Robert Kelley has outpaced Ezekiel Elliott in rushing yards. Kelley has 321 yards and 4 touchdowns on 67 carries. Elliott has 303 yards and 4 touchdowns on 64 carries.

3:10 p.m.: It's a familiar affair in Dallas for the Kerrigan bunch.

2:55 p.m.: The Redskins officially announced their list of inactives for today's game. All the regulars are good to go.

1:30 p.m.: If you we're hoping the Redskins would be wearing #ColorRush uniforms today, you're not in luck. But, they're going with white jerseys and burgundy pants, a tasty combo.

12:45 p.m.: So the NFL Network gave their predictions for the #WASvsDAL game today. They think the Cowboys have a better QB, RB, WR and Defense than the Redskins. I don't think that is entirely accurate.

12:22 p.m.: Like I mentioned earlier, we sent JP Finlay and Rich Tandler to Dallas for the game. JP had some fun dressing up like a cowboy. A bit too much fun.

12:00 p.m.: But since the theme of the day is "giving Thanks" we examined the top three things the Redskins — and its fans — should be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

11:55 a.m.: Redskins vs. Cowboys is more than just a Thanksgiving day game. Today is about more than just a rivalry. Here are the five things you need to know about today's big game.

11:50 a.m.: Since it is Thanksgiving, and everyone has an opinion on food, we decided to open things up for you to weigh in. But be warned, your food takes are bad and my food takes are good. Hate to break it to you all.

11:45 a.m.: We sent our CSN Insiders JP Finlay and Rich Tandler down to the Lone Star State for the big game in Big D today. Give them a follow on Twitter and be sure to follow our CSN Redskins account as well.

11:40 a.m.: Happy Thanksgiving, everyone and welcome to the live blog for Redskins vs. Cowboys. As always, I — Troy Machir — am your tour guide for the game thread of stats, highlights and analysis
