Watch Ron Rivera's dog run the 40 yard dash

As part of an effort to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the fight against pediatric cancer, NFL Network host Rich Eisen is asking others to join him in his annual 40-yard dash.

More than a million dollars have already been donated, and on Thursday morning, Washington head coach Ron Rivera joined in to share his own 40-yard dash with the world.

Or...did he?

Get that dog a contract!

The Rivera family dog, Tahoe, filled in for his dad running a 3.39 40-yard dash - a new NFL record!

Rivera, who was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2020, shared that he is making a donation of $100,000 to St. Jude as part of the #RunRichRun efforts. Washington Football Team owner Dan Snyder contributed as well with $100,000 of his own.

It's always awesome seeing life-changing money go to a great cause, and it's even more fun when you get to involve a beloved dog in the process.
