Nationals-Phillies postponed to Thursday at 1:05 p.m.

The Nationals' series finale against the Phillies on Wednesday night has been postponed to a full nine-inning game on Thursday at 1:05 p.m. due to expected inclement weather, the team announced.

All tickets and parking passes will be honored for the postponed game.

With Hurricane Ida making its way to the East Coast as remnants of a tropical system, the National Weather service placed a flash flood warning for Washington D.C. and surrounding residents through Thursday morning.

Philadelphia is looking to complete the three-game series sweep of the Nats after winning the first two contests by a scoring margin of nine runs.

Phillies slugger Bryce Harper continued to torment his former side this summer, notching five hits, four RBIs and scoring four runs in both wins.

After becoming sellers at the trade deadline the Nats (55-76) have slipped to 13.5 games back of the NL East's second-place Phillies (68-64) and 15 of the division-leading Atlanta Braves (70-61).
