The Washington Wizards face a tough test after their Christmas break, hosting the Philadelphia 76ers. It is Washington's first home contest since Dec. 12 when they fell to the Brooklyn Nets.
Philadelphia had won seven-straight games heading into their Christmas day matchup against the New York Knicks. All-Stars Joel Embiid and James Harden are playing some of their best basketball as a duo.
The Wizards will enjoy three days of rest heading into this contest. Bradley Beal, who is back in the lineup, and his club just wrapped a West Coast road trip going 2-4 with wins over the Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns. They're also getting healthier with the entire 'Big Three' available, Rui Hachimura back, as well as Delon Wright.

Wizards vs. 76ers: WHAT TO WATCH
From NBC Sports Washington's Chase Hughes
"Hachimura has been indispensable in the Wizards' second unit this season due to his reliability as a scorer. Even though he missed 16 games, Hachimura leads the Wizards in double-digit scoring games off the bench with 14. No one else has been able to impact games as consistently on that end of the floor outside of their starting lineup." Read more
"Washington has had some problems shoring up the 3-point line on the defensive end. While they are 14th in the NBA in threes allowed (12.2/g), they give up the second-highest percentage (37.8%). During this difficult 16-game stretch, the Wizards have allowed the highest 3-point percentage in the NBA (39.0%)." Read more
