D.C. is ready to go head to head with Vegas.
The NHL announced Friday that GRAMMY award winning artists Sting and Shaggy will perform before Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final on the steps of the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery on G Street.
The concert will take place at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, rain or shine.
The concert is open to the public and no ticket is required, but beware, traffic around Capital One Arena will be blocked off now through June 11th.
Sting and Shaggy recently released an island-inspired album together and portions of their performance will air during the game broadcast on NBCSN.
The Washington Post is reporting that Fall Out Boy will perform before Game 4 and NHL’s chief content officer, Steve Mayer said 'Wheel of Fortune' host and Caps fan, Pat Sajak will announce the Game 3 starting lineup.
